I was born and bred in Nottingham. I’m a lover of all things code related, and I have a first-class honours degree in Computing from Nottingham Trent University, which has allowed me to follow my dream of becoming a developer.
Before returning to education as a mature student, I worked for a nationwide retailer overseeing their property portfolio by organising proactive and reactive maintenance contracts. I spent most of my spare time writing small applications in order to sharpen my skill-sets and dubbed all these applications as TWAIN (Technology Without An Interesting Name). Although I’m a coder at heart, I’m also interested in other areas of computer science such as Artificial Intelligence, Networking, Serious games, and virtualisation, to name a few.
When I’m not coding I can be found spending time with my wife and children on walks and going to adventure playgrounds. I’m a fan of many sports such as golf and snooker and I’m a supporter of Notts County FC, although I don’t get the chance to watch as many of their matches as I would like.
